Al Bonowitz edits the Northern New England and Hawai‘i regional sections of AAA Explorer, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s publication for members of clubs it owns throughout the United States. He manages an annual photo contest and edits the dining section in Westways, the 5-million circulation magazine for ACSC’s members. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball, reading nonfiction, dining, and playing the drums in blues and classic-rock bands.
