Q: What do you do at your company? As Director of Sales, I lead the effort to earn new business for SFG in a variety of industries and verticals, including working with memberships, sponsorships, events and direct sales of SFG’s flexible technology and operational solution sets – SFG’s FlexOMS™ + FlexOps™.

Q: What is something at your business that a member could discover more about at the conference? Many IRMA members may be interested in exploring alternate ways of selling access to the information they publish. SFG’s Service Levels, Timed Access, and Recurring Charge solutions, as well as our credit card processing services (Account Updater, Expiration Estimator and Advanced Decline Recovery), help support publishers in these new ways of selling content.

Q: What hobbies or activities do you enjoy doing? I enjoy walking/jogging and am trying to get in 4-5 miles per day. I enjoy listening to a variety of book types (from Sci-Fi to Self-help) and podcasts – especially on those long walks -- and I have recently resurrected my interest in sewing (mostly masks), gardening (I forced many of my friends, family and coworkers to take some “gifts” of squash this summer), and cooking (ask about my “Drunken Noodles” recipe – it is spicy!).

Q: What do you do at your company? As Director of Partner Services, I lead SFG’s account management team, which acts as the primary contact for all of our clients. I am also very involved in presenting our technology solutions to prospective clients and managing many of our clients’ technology-based projects.

Q: What is something at your business that a member could discover more about at the conference? Many IRMA members are expanding into additional business models such as memberships and ecommerce, and they need omnichannel technology solutions across all models in one system. SFG is leading the industry in technology-based solutions, including business intelligence and seamless integration with specialized third-party vendors. SFG offers a full range of technology and operational services, all in house and on site, and has recently developed new features to enhance its long-time, robust support for leading-edge business models, including “subscription box” and bundled membership marketing.

Q: What hobbies or activities do you enjoy doing? After many years of neglect, I recently started playing trumpet in an 18-piece swing band. We play at retirement homes, school and church functions, and have played at several youth swing dances.

Q: What do you do at your company?
I have over 25 year’s experience of sales and marketing in the printing industry working with two of the largest print media companies in the world. I can offer expertise in Web, offset and digital printing through the largest printing network in Canada. My goals are to help companies’ engineer marketing solutions that help anticipate their customer’s desires and needs into the rapidly changing future with the latest and best technology available.

Q: What's new at Transcontinental Printing? Over the last few years, the company has invested heavily in its printing network to ensure it provides state-of-the-art technology. Our services include a wide array of solutions for our customers, including premedia, printing and distribution. Our network of 16 printing plants enables us to serve our business partners from coast to coast.

Q: What hobbies or activities do you enjoy doing?

Q: What do you do at your company?  I have a strong background in the publishing industry, previously working at Source Interlink Media and PMX Agency, doing direct mail and digital marketing. Over 4 years ago, I moved to Wiland and love working with the team! At Wiland, I provide information to prospective new clients on how Wiland’s database can help increase revenue. Whether it be Direct Mail campaigns, digital engagement or advertising revenue, I look forward to talking about the power of our database!
Q: What's new at Wiland?  Wiland has been working on some exciting new opportunities for our clients. First, along with using our modeled audiences to find prospect names and better target expires, we have been able to use the power of the coop for advertising. We can use the same data to analyze the brand engagement of your subscribers to create new advertising relationships and expand existing ones. We’ve also launched our new pay for performance offers website, Grand Giraffe! This website looks to bring the best offers from great brands to the consumer. The website is designed to drive incremental subscribers for the publication along with increasing eyes on your website! We’re always looking for new ways to help our clients so I’d love to hear your biggest challenges. We’ll work together to see how the power of our data can help!
Q: What are your hobbies? 2020 has been a much different year than anyone could have expected and while it’s been difficult at times, I love that I’ve been able to spend more time with my 18 month old son! My husband and I love taking him on new adventures and exploring the parks in NYC. One of my other hobbies was going to concerts throughout the year which we have luckily still be able to do from the comfort of our home with some of our favorite bands live streaming performances throughout the year.
